Schweizerhof Spa

The vision

As part of our total renovation of Bern’s revered hotel, the Schweizerhof, we replaced a basement nightclub with a chic, modern spa. Rigorous planning and imaginative use of space gave us the opportunity to include a pool, sauna, hamman, fitness area and a number of beautifully appointed treatment rooms. The spaces are tranquil and warm in their use of rich timbers, slate and mosaic; skilfully integrated lighting serves to cocoon the guest. On completion, the spa became a member of Leading Spas of the World.
