Anazoe Spa

“Ana” means beginning and “zoe” new life and appropriately the spa is hidden womb-like in the topography of the village centre. It is a series of spaces into which guests retreat through colonnades flanked by Byzantine arches into the inner sanctum. The design underpins the drama by layering experience on experience. The perimeter which joins the outside world is the wet area; moving inwards the spaces become reminiscent of glowing mystical caves. The sound of gently flowing water can be heard throughout.
