Metropol Palace

We totally renovated The Metropol Palace, celebrating the hotel’s glamorous heyday as the haunt of movie stars and statesmen and taking our design cue from the 20th Century building’s modernist architecture. The monumental lobby was reimagined to suit today’s more informal lifestyles, views onto the boulevard and park were opened up and new spaces, including a spa and cigar lounge were created. The hotel was extended with two new floors of guestrooms while existing guest floors were re-planned to achieve a range of large suites. Bathrooms were luxuriously appointed in marble and local stone.
