Intourist Hotel

In creating the interiors of this new hotel in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, MKV Design paid tribute to the city’s former Intourist Hotel. However, its successor has a narrative which is clearly its own, belonging to the vibrant and successful city that is Baku today. Our vision was to create a hotel that was glamorous, contemporary and intimate in ambience. Allusions to the 20^th Century heyday of its predecessor infuse the design but never overwhelm it.
