The vision

The renaissance of one of Bern’s most historic hotels involved significant internal re-planning and rebuilding to ensure that the story of this glamorous landmark could continue successfully for decades to come. The skill lay in moving on by taking the hotel’s inheritance but rather than merely copying what had been before, creating a hotel that is very much part of the city’s social life while also responding to the needs of international business travellers in the 21st Century.
